Counselling in Ipoh at St John Nursing Home 26/12/2015
Counselling in Ipoh 26/12/2015 at St John Nursing Home.
1. Patient: Lee Kok Kee, eldest brother of my good friend, Lee Kok Ngon, who is attached to Boustead Estates Agency.2. Age: 72.
3. Sickness/Diagnosis: Intestinal cancer.
4. Person doing counselling: James Ho.
5. Lasted 40 mins. Shared my cancer journey with him which started in 2002 and ended in 2004. FULLY RECOVERED.
He looked positive.
Had 2 rounds of chemotheraphy with 4 more to go.

Parents with 13 years old daughter in love with 18 years old
Background
James Ho received a referral case via telephone from a Lady through Befrienders Johor Bahru Chapter to assist in counselling a 13-year-old girl who has been in love with an 18-years-old boy and both parents has difficulties in communicating with the daughter.
She has also attempted suicide by slashing her wrist with a sharp object twice.

A meeting has been set up at 08:00pm to meet with the parents first to have a better understanding of the situations.
James Ho, Molly, Muthu and John Ho was present to listen to the parents feed back on her daughter.
During the discussions, the mother also bring to the teams attention her own depression conditions.
The team provided some counselling as well as contacting Dr Kadir of Hospital Permai for the parents to get in touch directly.
The team left after the parents has fixed a date with Molly and Muthu to see the daughter and to listen to her situation.

The Foundation's team of Counsellors(Molly, Ng, Muthu & James) met the 13-year-old girl to hear her side of the story. All went well with laughters and warm pleasantries exchanges all round after the counselling sessions. Molly & Muthu were the main counsellors during the session with Ng & James at the side lines. We shall see how the follow-up sessions evolve.

"Hi Mr. James....I heard all of you are there....so nice of you...Thank you, hopefully all of you can help my daughter....Thanks".
