We
are all together with YOU as you go through the cancer treatment. We may not be
medical people but we are people who possess strong human spirit and
determination to live.
I
find this very encouraging and power-packed and hope the messages will spur you
on to WIN and be a SURVIVOR!!! I was there in 2002
and I know how tough it was. Yes, the journey was rough and
tough then but it was possible to get through with a few
bruises if only you want to. It is all up to you.
To
FRIENDS, YOU can help win the battle for your friends going through
treatment by being there when it matters most.
To
Shirley(my dear wife), Andy, Josephine and Michael (all my children) and Ding
(my greatest of friends), THANK YOU for being there when it matters most. And
to those friends who have in one way or another helped out, thank you. It will
not be possible to express in words the gratitude I feel. It brings back
fond memories of the support and encouragements all of you gave to me at that
time, the most memorable one being " Brother, you better don't die for if
you do, we will dig you up from the grave and walk you around everywhere
to those places we used to go ". What an encouragement! How can you give
up when you have friends/brothers like that? As I am writing this or each time
I recalled this boost, it always brings back tears of joy & gratitude.
And most of all, being alive!
